In this brave new world of the web, geography ceases to be an issue. But it is often helpful to get a sense of the general location of a business– it certainly helps when making idle conversation about the weather, for example– so here’s the scoop…

DIRECTIONS

Washington Street in Melrose  is one of those streets that curves and may seem to change its name. If you’re coming in via I-93, take the Stone Zoo exit, head off to the right past the Zoo and along Spot Pond. There on the left you’ll see a sign to Melrose. Go down the hill to the traffic light and take a right onto the Lynn Fells Parkway. After two blocks veer off to the left down Washington Street. Continue along until you see a large brick factory building (Marty’s Furniture, 99 Washington Street). Take a right (and you’re still on Washington Street, curiously) and then a quick left into the parking lot. Park at the righthand end of the building, where you’ll see the entrance and stairs to the 2nd floor.

By T or Commuter Rail: Take the Orange Line and go to the Oak Grove stop. Walk down Washington Street (away from Malden, into Melrose) a few long blocks. We’re on the right side of the street.
