The QuickFix Editor is a handy tool that lets you make a quick change to a page, without affecting the design (and without knowing HTML). We can add it to almost any website, and it has proven useful for many of our clients who prefer to have direct access without committing to a database-driven website.
Below is a screenshot of the QuickFix editor. You have a pop-up that shows you a list of pages you can edit, and when you choose one, the text that can be edited shows up in a field below with your basic Word-like interface (the ability to choose Bold, etc.) When you have completed your edit, you enter a password and save the change.

Using something like this helps keep the design of a website intact–frequently, novice users, when given an editor such as Dreameweaver, are suddenly bogged down with details that they generally don’t want to know about. By restricting a change to one specific location on a page, the rest of the layout is safe from accidents.
